Hi there, and welcome to my little corner of the internet! I’m Adeline J. McLeod, and I’m so excited that you’ve stopped by.
For me, writing is all about creating stories that make you feel—whether that’s love, joy, heartache, or that magical spark that comes from two people finding each other in the most unexpected of ways. I’m all about romance and exploring those complicated, beautiful relationships that make life so interesting. If you’re a fan of heartfelt love stories with a bit of magic (or maybe a whole lot of magic!) and a dash of spice, you’re definitely in the right place.
A Little Bit About Me
I’m a full time wife, mom, and NICU nurse and an author on the side. But before I became any of those things, I was, and am, an avid reader. Somewhere along my three decades of life, I realized I had stories of my own to tell. Writing became my way of sharing the worlds and characters I’d dreamed up in my head (not to mention free therapy.) My goal is to write books that transport you to new places and keep you hooked until the very last page. If my stories leave you with a smile, a sigh, or even a few happy tears, then I’ve done my job.
Right now, I’m working on expanding my cozy fantasy romance short story, The Inn & Its Keeper, into a full length novel. I have also published a holiday romance novella, A Billionaire for Christmas, which is all about a failed one night stand turned fake dating arrangement gone unexpectedly right (or maybe wrong, but in the best possible way!). If you haven’t read either story, feel free to check them out while we wait for the good stuff to come out. Why I Write
Writing is my way of escaping, of exploring different sides of love, and of creating connections with people I might never meet in real life. There’s something so powerful about love stories—about watching two characters evolve, challenge each other, and find their way to each other. Whether it’s a slow-burn romance or a passionate, whirlwind connection, I want to give you a story that makes you feel all those deep emotions and reminds you of the beauty of love in all its forms.
For me, it’s not just about creating happy endings (though I’m a sucker for them!). It’s about showing the messy, beautiful parts of relationships—the parts that make us stronger, more resilient, and more open to love. I want my stories to feel like a warm hug, a comforting escape, and a reminder that we all deserve love, no matter how imperfect we might be.
